…especially when I’m pregnant. Standing is not comfortable. I sit SO much more when I’m pregnant plus I sit when I work. Then there’s the two hours in the morning when I’m taking the kids to school and requires I sit in the driver’s seat of my car. *ugh* I think I sit too much according to the graphic below!

I sit more when I’m pregnant, but I also do quite a bit of squatting. Squatting is FAR better than sitting, in fact I don’t think any of the above problems are associated with squatting, and have many benefits in terms of pregnancy comfort and labor too.
Carrie: I’ve recently read about the benefits of squatting and that’s one thing I’m trying to make a change and do more of now.
